Teaching

Dr. Sarah McIver excels at inspiring students of all ages to set and reach goals through creative approaches individually tailored to each student’s needs and potentials. Teaching experience includes both private lessons and groups, beginners to advanced, at university, K-12 schools and private studios. Has coached and conducted chamber ensembles, and prepared students for recitals, auditions and competitions. Has developed curriculum and presented educational programs, lectures and master classes to K-12, university, and at conferences. Entrepreneurial skills, versatility and depth of knowledge drawn from extensive performing experience in a multitude of ensembles, from early music on historical instruments to premieres of works by living composers on a full range of modern concert flutes.
